Nothing you haven't seen on the internet. It is kind of long and didn't seem to have much of a plot besides following a madman around.

We watched it in college at a dorm function. Some girls seemed bothered by it...some.

It's maybe scandalous for it's time but I agree with the above...sort of boring...stupid, silly and then there's the incest. Total waste of time.

I think Roger Ebert called it an abomination or the worst movie ever. And Roger Ebert used to write porn movies.

I saw it many years ago. It is as fricked up as they say. Incest, orgies, S&M and full frontal nudity. It is not a 'Hollywood' version, i.e., perfect bodies, rather this is young and old debauchery at it's sickest.

Enjoy.

Nope that would be 120 of Sodom (Salo). You will never be the same after watching that...

Sexploitation. It's classier and more entertaining than porn.

Horrible, boring movie. The nadir of Malcolm McDowell's career.

You just go to a porn site and watch the orgy scene.

It's got porn actors in it, two girls fellating a fella to his climax.

The Foreign Language Lab on campus had a copy when I was in school, so a few of us watched it to see what the fuss was about. It's a little tame by today's standards and most of it looks like it was done for pure shock value. Some of the sex scenes were almost comical.

I don't know if there are appropriate words to describe how horrifying that film is.

I finally sat down and tried to watch this a few weeks ago. When looking at the sets and hearing the music and the characters' lines I had to keep reminding myself that it was the 70's (like the full, unbridled bushes weren't a giant, hairy clue), but I just couldn't make it past the part where Caligula first starts having episodes of craziness. I think the chick running the barbed wire through her cootch was the final straw for me on the Uncomfortableness scale.

Also: Helen Mirren had a nice rack.

The old Caligula 21 strip club in Dallas was special before it burned. They used to bring in porn stars to dance and do the "pose with my fans" Polaroid thing. It's a shame my customers always wanted me to take them there when we went to lunch.

Not that fricked up by today's standards.

""Caligula" is sickening, utterly worthless, shameful trash. If it is not the worst film I have ever seen, that makes it all the more shameful: People with talent allowed themselves to participate in this travesty. Disgusted and unspeakably depressed, I walked out of the film after two hours of its 170-minute length...this film is not only garbage on an artistic level, but that it is also garbage on the crude and base level where it no doubt hopes to find its audience. "Caligula" is not good art, It is not good cinema, and it is not good porn." - Ebert

He gave Deep Throat and Behind the Green Door solid reviews.
