John C. Reilly is insanely good in this movie. Don Cheadle and William H. Macy both deliver as well.

Iirc the dude was smoking from a pipe or bong. I doubt he was smoking crack, so most likely he was smoking meth. Also, parading around in a robe and underwear is more of something someone would do while strung out on meth rather than Coke.

I think I read somewhere that PTA kept doing take after take after take in this scene and wouldn't let whalberg sleep so the look on his face is actually real. He was so fried and just wanted to go to bed in real life. Hate it for Whalberg but look at the final result.
