You know what the much worse issue is? It's that anyone who says anything remotely positive about the movie gets downvoted into oblivion and roasted. All of us in the "liked the movie" category get hammered by the same few people that just talk mad shite about the poster and the movie. It's like you can't even express your opinion because of the rabid salty hater posters are waiting in the shadows to jump down our throats.
It's a lot like Breesus and 2 southpark seasons ago. He had to go into every SP thread and repeat the same drivel negative shite over and over, because god forbid positive takes get posted unchecked.

Why does the opposite exist as well? Who gives a shite if people like it. Obviously they cant stand that some people enjoyed it, so they gang up on any poster that says they did. It's fricking embarrassing. I feel bad for them.

They shite on the movie. Nobody cares if you liked the movie. You don’t see me making a thread about Attack of the Clones being a better movie than The Last Jedi. I have been all over the place and I haven’t seen anyone get jumped for liking this movie, mostly being ignored. I think you feel like your good takes about the movie have been drowned out by the other bad takes, and rightfully so. As bad as I thought it was it has seemed like a broken record. But threads like this are just as unnecessary as those shitting on the movie over and over. People have their minds made up and that’s that.

Every time I post something positive (and others) we are reamed about how they feel the movie sucks instead. It's the same 4-5 people. And it's nonstop. You are wrong.

It's nice that you see this. There's no need to attack specific posters. There's no need to be super salty and drudge up random shite from the past and just constantly attack people who share their options even when unpopular. We can have just a back forth about the good and bad with name calling and nonsense.

I tried pointing out that TFA got a ton of shite here for rehashing the OT and they tried to discredit that. This board was a shitshow two years ago as well. JJ played it too safe, it was basically ANH, why was Luke the cliffhanger, Maz sucks, Finn shouldnt know how to use a lightsaber, why does Rey know all this without training, too close to ANH frame for frame etc etc.
It's insufferable.

Most of us agree that Rey and Ren were done really well. Snoke's death was cool but his backstory left completely unexplained was a massive problem.

Thank you for mentioning this. Boba Fett didn't do shite...ever. Yet, he's insanely popular and a fan favorite. It makes no sense. Cool armor? Check. Quiet and brooding? Check. Accomplish anything else? Well, I guess he was good at following people. In his only combat sequence Luke cuts his blaster in half and Han accidentally bumps into him causing his jetpack to malfunction sending him into the sarlaac pit.

I mean, if you have proof that the same people hating TFA then, if you are right, are the same people hating TLJ now, I'll listen.
At least for me, and a few other active posters, the only problem I really had with TFA was Finn. Not who he was, but how his character was developed. I had no problem with Rey, Maz, Luke, ANH similarities (which I think WERE a benefit, not a problem). JJ did play it safe, but again, no complaints from me on that.

I always post positives and negatives and am happy to discuss things.
You decided in your first post that om relentlessly negative for negatives sake and then your second post that I'm actually not and we can just have a discussion. Which is it? Which side of the narrative you're currently pushing are you on today?

These are the same people citing the RT number as proof it sucks.
Those RT numbers that say Batman v Superman and Sucide Squad are light years better than TLJ.
I have had disucssions about the flaws as well, and I addressed some, so you calling me out on that is from a standpoint of being ill-informed.

Do you remember those threads? Seems like you don't. I just kept calling you out every time you posted the same takes week after week and regurgitating the same stuff 100 times like it was fresh. It was fact.
