A perfect GRRM ending.

If you've read Martin's other books, you knew it would end this way. The heroes never win quite the way you want them to, but there are small victories.

Was the episode a bit rushed, yes. But the end result would have been the same.

Literally every fan favorite character had so much of a good ending it felt like overkill. Even Bronn got on on the council.

It’s awful.

Agree 100%

People obviously forgot they weren’t watching a Disney movie and there wasn’t going to be a totally happy ending.

People have bitched about this show since season one when Ned was killed so this ending isn’t something out of left field. If you’re mad about this ending then you haven’t been paying attention.

dany being killed in first 30 mins left them with nothing at the end for a dramatic finale

Cool straw man. Nobody wanted a happy ending

Dany died, Jamie died, the Hound died, Cersei died, Theon died

But yeah every fan favorite is living the good life

I enjoyed it and am satisfied with it. People were going to melt no matter how it went. Especially this board. Sucks to not enjoy it I guess.

So the few deaths that were quite possibly unavoidable ( if you're using this same ending) make up for all the other lords bowing down while the Starks run everything? Sansa declares independence and no one gives a damn? The master of coin is someone who has yet to show any sign of being good with money at all? Brienne completely ignoring her oath to Catelyn Stark so she can be captain of the kingsguard?

Sorry if I’m a little hesitant to say GRRM would end it exactly this way. Surely you’re not satisfied with this ending.

How was it never mentioned Jon was the true king in the "council" meeting? Where did all those ships come from Greyworm and company left on? What is the point of the Knights Watch if there isn't a Night King, and the wildlings are welcome?

Considering what happens to Stark men in the south, it seems perfectly reasonable that Sansa would rather have her at Bran's side than up north with her.

Work camp? Just send prisoners up there and them make shite for the kingdoms. I mean it's not like they gave a shite what they did before
