3 Billboards

Anybody going? I know this doesn't necessarily scream "WATCH ME ON THE BIG SCREEN!" but it has a vaguely Coen Brothers vibe (Frances in the lead).
Looks like it's my cup of tea. Was going to see Murder and 3 Billboards. May pivot to 3 Billboards and Thor.
I haven't seen 2 movies in 1 weekend in probably 30 years.

FK, look - I'm old. I'm going to see Frances, Woody and Rockwell (ETA: How could I forget Tyrion?)P in what looks to be a fun, interesting ride. I did enjoy In Bruges, although I'll be damned if I get what it was all about. McDonagh is a weird mix of the Coen Brothers and alternating with one of the Andersons (more Paul Thomas than Wes) in filmmaking style.
Even more Coensy is Carter Burwell with the score FTMFW. Plus Ben Davis with the cinematography has to be great in that department.
I dig it...

I was hoping to but it isn't playing near me.

I'd definitely be going if the nearest movie theater weren't 40 miles away. The previews for this one look better than anything else in a very long time.

Since I'm not worried about IMAX on this one, I have to drive almost 4 miles.

I would be there this weekend if it was showing in Nashville. It's a pretty limited release this Friday. I think it shows here next Wednesday or something?
I've been more excited for this movie and The Shape of Water than anything else in 2017.
ETA: I'm still seeing 2, maybe 3 this weekend. Killing of a Sacred Deer, Murder, The Florida Project.

I may have jumped the gun about the thread for this weekend. I saw November 10th release and now I can't find show times - and I'm looking as far away as Atlanta.
Maybe the broader release is next week sometime.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just LA/New York and maybe Chicago or something this weekend. The first showtimes I see here say Wednesday (which is sort of odd)

Doesn't look like it'll be playing in Louisiana anytime next week. It's playing in Houston at the Museum of Art tomorrow, that's the closest I could find
