I watched it for the first time over the weekend and it is greatness.

General Grievous in particular is an evil bastard in it.

How does this one compare to the 2008 Clone Wars show?

I have yet to see 2008 Clone Wars.

I did not like this when it released, and it's the reason I did not watch the TV series. For years I heard how good the series was, but I couldn't bring myself to watch. Then I finally broke down a few years back and started watching the series, and it was very good (as long as it wasn't any of the stupid droid focused episodes).

Maybe I would like this if I gave it another shot, but my apathy for Star Wars thanks to Disney is too strong to bother with any SW at all anymore.

Yeah, I was never a big fan of 2003. Too much mindless anime, people raining shots all over each other kind of feel. 2008 has way more plot development and interesting characters.

But yeah, still way better than Disney.
