Like someone from Friday Night Lights? Boobie Miles?
Was Booby a character in the movie or was a there a character that was based upon him? If its the latter then this is not the same. The individual who posts here was depicted in the film as himself.

Sean Tuohy?
Something similar except the Tuohy's were far more self promoting than the person I'm talking about.

I was right behind Andie McDowell at TCBY a couple of years ago. Also saw her at the dry cleaners.

In REAL LIFE I am Jan Michael Vincent.
You may have seen me in The World's Greatest Athlete.
I was kind of a big deal in the 70's.
My performance in Airwolf is considered legendary throughout Scandanavia and part of Uraguay.
I am available for autograph signings.
And basic carpentry jobs
I consider all of you friends, so add me to your lists.

Saw Knoxville cuddled up with some undergrads on the Jack Daniels bus at Reggies one night. Gave him a nod.

No, this is a regular guy who happened to have himself featured in a film. I know several members of his family and have even met him a number of times but I have never had the guts to ask him how it felt to see an actor portraying him on a screen.
Really a good guy and you've probaly read many of his posts but he can be a bit imposing IRL.
Edit...Imposing is probably not the best word to have used. He's just someone you would never think to bother with trivialities and he apparentently considers this trivial.
I'm thinking I may just know who you're talking about . . .
