I watched the ending again and Victoria did look at that plane funny. I think she got everyone off of it and they are making Conrad think they are all dead

Let me first say I watch this show religiously even though its extremely poorly written. Its an addictive show and I admit I watch. But even for Revenge that seems to be a long shot explanation.

I found it funny that the news reporter was able to confirm the passenger manifest and deaths so quickly.

And does any one believe Emily/Amanda would willingly chloroform herself at the insistence of a psychopath?

You're right that the show is both poorly written and addictive. The fake Amanda showing up pregnant at the end was so terrible. I knew that she was going to be there, but the pregnancy surprised me. The plane thing is going to be stupid also. I bet Victoria is somehow alive. The SEC guy not backing up any of the evidence and it all just being destroyed on the plane is also pretty terrible

He had a gun on her and she knew he wouldn't hurt her while he didn't know where the evidence against him was

I agree. Unless Madeleine Stowe contracted to do one year only she has to be alive.

But that's all part of what I'm talking about. This is a woman who has calculated her every move and now she allows herself to walk into a situation where she has virtually no control.

How long did she expect to hold the evidence over his head before he offed her? Of course they found a way to have him leave so she could escape. Kind of like what the villains did in the old Batman series.

I think it had more to do with saving Nolan

That's a good point, and probably plays to her character, but in reality she went about it in an odd way.

I just don't think she had a choice since she didn't know where he was and he had a gun on her

The storyline has her almost ninja like. Not hard to imagine her taking the gun away from him and reversing the situation. That would have played better with me than the chloroform.

She had no way of knowing white hair was going to leave and allow her to escape. It was far to risky.

I like the show, but agree that it tends to be predictable. That being said I absolutely disagree with them having "Emily" not kill the white haired man when she had the chance. She's had many actions that directly related to someone's death, the henchman, tyler, etc. She burned down the author's cabin destroying his life's work, she didn't feel remorse for Lydia getting thrown off a building, but yet she can't find it within herself to finish off a contract killer who killed her father?

Lame. So now the plot turns on an event that I found impossible to stomach.

the whole flashback with her father was her turning point. remembering how much her Dad admired her and her good heart stopped her from killing him. even Nolan said last episode that he didnt think she could go through with the actual murder.

Awesome show. Awesome finale.

One thing I didn't like was that after they brought it back, Daniel was rewritten as such an unlikeable character, while Emily was made less sociopathic.

I thought the idea of her fricking this poor guys world up in order to get revenge on his parents was a much more interesting dynamic.

Who should Revenge cast as Emily's mom? The actress has to be as good as the other women on this show....maybe Elizabeth Mitchell?

Good choice, but she may be too young. I think she's only 41 or 42. How old is Emily on the show? I would guess mid-late 20's. Unless Emily's dad knocked up her mom when she was 15 or so, I don't see it.

FWIW Conrad is the idiot in the background that has no clue about who the "secret" people are.. Victoria is the one in the video that we saw from Nolan.. I'm sure Victoria is alive, and was kept alive because someone from this secret organization saved her butt.
