I was curious and checked some mock draft boards for the next 2 years, and was shocked to not see Edey anywhere to be found, even 2nd Round.
I don't follow the NBA much anymore, but are traditional bigs really this little valued they wouldn't be interested in someone with his size and skillset?
I don't know what kind of money Purdue can get him in terms of NIL, but he may want to consider staying another year and seeing if he can get a 2mil+ NIL deal.

Hes not mobile enough for the nba. Teams are scoring 120 pts per game. He wouldn't be able to get up and down the floor that many times.

This. He's a very, very good college player. But he wouldn't be able stay in front of anyone on the perimeter which doesn't matter as much in college since he can drop into the paint because there's no defensive three second rule.
He could find his way to the end of a bench, but the NBA tends to keep unrefined, uber-athletic guys there in case one of them puts it all together. Edey is pretty much at the peak of his abilities because he'll have physical limitations due to his size against the athletes in the NBA.

Same reason Luka Garza doesn't last in the NBA. They don't have the foot speed to guard in the NBA.
