Arizona. Picked to finish just above the Washington schools in the PAC-10. They could finish in the top half of the conference, very good defense will just have a green QB.

Both Michigan & ND are in pretty good spots right now with such low national expectations.

I agree. They probably aren't ready to contend for the West yet, but I think they'll knock off one of the big 3 and wind up going bowling at 7-5. They should score a lot of points.

I agree but with the schedule they have if ND doesn't win more than 8 games that is a dissapointment. As foe Mich it will take another year or so for them to become legit agin, 6 wins this year does not mean sleeper to me.

Six wins is what most are expecting, so anything over 6 wins makes them a legit sleeper. Personally I think the Wolverines have a opportunity to win 7 or 8 this season.

I will go with North Carolina

Everyone nationally loves UNC as the sleeper team but in North Carolina, many people believe NC State is better at just about every position except for some spots on defense. I personally think NC State is the sleeper team, they beat UNC 41-10 last season and return most of that team, while UNC loses all the wideouts they had from last year.

Any team from the ACC could be a sleeper. They are so even right now, that if any team (other than VT) stands out, they could go on a monster tear and be a sleeper team. Seriously, everyone but Duke and maybe UVa and Maryland have a legit shot to win the ACC title.

Agreed. Baylor and Stanford are two sleeper teams for me that might be in the top 25 by the end of the year

lol at baylor being in the top 25. they will be better, no doubt, but they have a tough schedule.

9/05 @ Wake Forest
9/19 Connecticut
9/26 Northwestern State
10/03 Kent State
10/10 @ Oklahoma
10/17 @ Iowa State
10/24 Oklahoma State
10/31 Nebraska
11/07 @ Missouri
11/14 Texas
11/21 @ Texas A&M
11/28 vs. Texas Tech

Their schedule has absolutely no bearing on whether or not they are one of the 25 best teams in the nation

Okay if you are preseason Top 25 you are NOT a sleeper. Oklahoma State and LSU are not sleepers. Both of you are starting in or just outside of the top 10. People expect 9 or more wins out of you.

For the people saying Baylor....

ill say stanford, and nebraska. if nebraska can beat V-Tech they may end up with a great record.

Most people have Neb to win the Big 12 north. Which means a trip to the Big 12 title game. Not much of a sleeper to me.

absolutely no bearing? you have to win games to be in the top 25. there wasn't one team in the final ap top 25 last year with 5 losses. you honestly think baylor loses less than 5 games?
