Lol the NFL is easily the best and hardest of the 4 majors to get into.
The NBA doesn’t even have its own just a general basketball one and it’s the easiest one to get into by far.
The NFL is going to have a logjam for quite awhile. Probably need to go to 8 current ballot guys and up to 4 Senior committee guys each year.

Those are not HOF accolades
And while his numbers are good, they’re not insane enough to make up for his lack of HOF level accolades. 7500 yards and 63 TDs won’t cut it
I can’t say for 100% certainly he won’t make the HOF one day but it seems extremely unlikely. And definitely not 1st BALLOT. The 1st ballot guys are guys who were all time greats. Davis isn’t even the top 3 of his generation
