whoever wants to pick for the bears, be my guest, and we will move on

Maybe edit the title so people know there's an open pick.
I'll be ready when the bears go

I'll pick for Chicago
With the 8th pick in the 2018 NFL draft... Da Bears select...
Derwin James, FSU S.
James seems like a natural fit next to a rising coverage safety in Eddie Jackson.
James is physical enough to play in the box, and can be another playmaking DB that will allow the corners even more space to succeed.
Although augmenting the offensive arsenal for Mitch was desired, Quenton Nelson being drafted at Pick 5 left Chicago in a BPA scenario.
James fits the mold with the most upside.

With the 9th pick in the MSB NFL mock draft, the San Fransisco 49ers select...
Harold Landry | DE | Boston College
According to Pro Football Focus, only six Round 1 pass rushers weighing at least 250 pounds have logged a three-cone time quicker than 6.9 seconds: DeMarcus Ware, J.J. Watt, David Pollack, Melvin Ingram, Joey Bosa and T.J. Watt. Landry came in at 6.88. Landry compares favorably to Cliff Avril, Yannick Ngakoue and Vic Beasley, who have excelled in similar schemes in Seattle, Jacksonville and Atlanta, respectively.
The 9ers need pass rush help desperately, and after they have their long term QB and RB signed they are looking to rebuild their defense.

I'm not sure Landry will go that high in real life, but I think it's a good pick.

There's always that one surprise... I can see it being Landry due to his potential as a pass rusher

With the 10th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft the Oakland Raiders select:
Minkah Fitzpatrick, S/CB, Alabama.
The Raiders still need help all over their defense. With Roquan Smith gone, Minkah is a no brainer here. With elite athleticism he is someone the Raiders have desperately needed on defense with the ability to play CB or Safety, Minkah can transform the Raiders defense and take it where it needs to go.

With the 11th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select:
Josh Rosen, QB UCLA
This draft pick could potentially be the franchise's biggest coup since Dan Marino fell to them as the 26th pick in 1983 (5 QBs ahead of him). Rosen has some scouts believing he is easily the best pure passer in the draft. He carried mediocre surrounding cast (coaching and players) at UCLA, and despite his lack of big wins in college, his value could not be understated.
His biggest drawbacks are frame, intangibles, and "unique" personality. Luckily, HC Adam Gase understands the dynamic of an aloof QB (See Jay Cutler) and should be able to push the right buttons with Rosen, a QB who's physical skills align perfectly with Gase's attributes he desire for a QB.
Rosen's left-coast attitude should blend perfectly with Miami sensibilities, and Miami fans have been looking for a franchise savior (no, not Ryan Tannehill) since the days of Dan Marino's amazing Isotoner commercials.
A QB that easily could've easily gone 2nd overall to the Giants, the Dolphins will gladly accept Rosen falling into their laps @ 11th Overall.

I think they are still holding out hope for tannehill

I think tanny was in line for a big year last year until the injury.

How many years are we going to keep telling each other this

Rosen's not slipping that far.
With that being said, Tannehill isn't the answer in Miami imo.

Yeah I was planning on taking Baker - IRL they would need to trade up for Rosen.
I don’t see any way Miami thinks Tannehill is going to lead them to championships. They are in rebuild mode.

If we were allowed to make trades, Josh Rosen would be on the Bills. Since that wasn't an option, the Bills will select Baker Mayfield, QB from Oklahoma.
Pretty clear that Buffalo's number one need is QB, and for good reason- their current roster includes zero QBs who are either experienced or have shown much potential. Mayfield is a polarizing prospect due to his height, college offensive system, and abundant confidence. The Bills are choosing to bet on a player who combines solid physical tools with incredible college production. If Mayfield harnesses his hypercompetitiveness into the work ethic needed to pick up a more complex offense, he has the potential to be a solid starter for the next decade at the most important position in football.

I could see Miami trading up for Mayfield.
