2) Defense is great, but we're down a run with 5 outs left. You don't play defense.
3) Robertson and Rivera know what they're doing. We aren't talking Garcia or Burnett here. I could catch Mo and Robertson.
4) Even IF he's keeping out Montero for defense, then why the hell didn't he bring another catcher? Put Cervelli on the roster and you can PH Montero and bring in Cervelli for the defense.

I do. I love a good defensive catcher. I wish we still had Molina for those situations.

completely agree with you here. I think at that point Montero NEEDED to be put in.
