It wasnt 4-1. The guy was winning 210-800k originally. Then Ivey just started bulling him. Ivey flipped it to 800k-210k. Then the guy made a comeback. They were about even, after the other guy made his run.

i could swear ivey was down to 200k, which would make it 4-1...then he chipped away at it.

They play a 2-5 and 5-10. It's at that strip center off of Mason just before you get to I 10 on the left. The guy who runs it is a big 10-25 half and half player at Coushatta so i'm sure you would recognise him if you play there. I could get you in but you would have to meet the guy first. They don't let just anyone come play since it's not exactly legal. They arse rape you on the rake but the game is pretty good and if you live in Katy, it beats driving to Lake Charles or Kender.

If you talk to people who have done the pro thing for a while out in Vegas, 90% will say he was the best. The winnings he accumulated through out the years is mind boggling. I was never able to play with him while he was alive in any tournaments but friends of mine who had said he was incredible to play with. Never got upset at anything, he kept the same emotion and never let what was going on at the table effect his play no matter how bad or good it got. Not many can do that.

Ouch.

quote:

No Justice For Mikey, Matusow One Outed And Is Eliminated

David Pham: X-X-Jc-8d
Mike Matusow: X-X-Qh-Ac

Matusow bet 1,200 and Pham made the call.

David Pham: X-X-Jc-8d-8s
Mike Matusow: X-X-Qh-Ac-6h

Pham checked after pairing up and Matusow fired 2,400. Pham made the call.

David Pham: X-X-Jc-8d-8s-Kd
Mike Matusow: X-X-Qh-Ac-6h-9h

Matusow fired another bet of 2,400 and Pham pounced, raising to 4,800. Matusow thought for a while before calling himself all in. “You got three eights David?” Matusow asked. Pham did not as he turned over K9 for kings up, much to the delight of Matusow who showed AQ for aces up. Matusow needed to dodge the K, the last king left as someone folded the K at the start of the hand. Pham glanced at his card and announced that it had paint. Sure enough, he showed the case king and Matusow was in shock. “I just got one outed after playing for nine hours,” Matusow said as he turned over the 5 and he made his exit.

Brat: Honey he called a raise with Q-10!

Idiot: It was an aggresive call.

He's a good player but that's just bad. he's got three pulls left with K high. I don't get what he was hoping to make? Needs 2 out of 3 cards for a straight, not sure what his hole cards were in terms of suit but his board was rainbow. Not to mention you have a guy betting every round with AQ showing. Have to put him on at least Aces after 2nd.

I've seen a few of those first hand. It's pretty ridiculous.

In this case mike has a right to be pissed. The guy went runner, runner, runner to beat him with no hand till 6th street.

Adam Levy is a good player. I would probably play a wider hand range against Phil too it seems he would be easy to get off a hand.

right after a guys tells him "you just showed a bluff with J-4 what's he supposed to do?" Phil then says "you pushed all in with K-10 so don't talk strategy with me"
