Daniel Negreanu Eliminated in 2nd Place ($138,280)
Daniel Negreanu went from running hot to running ice cold. Brock Parker seemed to win hand after hand in the heads-up match, dwindling Negreanu down further and further with each deal. On the final hand, Brock Parker raised and then Daniel Negreanu called. The flop A106 was and Negreanu checked. Parker bet, Negreanu raised, Parker made it three bets, and then Negreanu raised to four bets. Parker finished the action with a call. The turn was the 4 and Negreanu bet all in. Parker called.
Showdown
Parker: AJ Negreanu: K10 The river card needed to be a ten or a king for Daniel to stay alive. The dealer burned one card and then dealt the 8 on the river. Just like that, it was all over and Brock parker claimed his first ever WSOP bracelet!

Event 19 could possibly have the most aggressive ever. 59 left. Garza, Shaun Deeb, Parker, Switzer, Hinkle, and Schultz some of the most agrressive and top online players in the world.

Mercier is a young kid who has won a ton this past year. Everyone says he just started a sick heater at the start of the WSOP.

Poker > Lakers
Jerry Buss is seated in the tournament field today and doesn't seem overly concerned about the Lakers game going on later tonight. Maybe he's confident they'll take it down. Or maybe he just didn't feel the need to travel all the way down to Orlando for the game. Nevertheless, Buss is decked out in a nice purple shirt and sporty Lakers hat to support his team.
