They looked pretty inept early. Kentucky has the pedigree no doubt, but this year's version of freshmen phenoms looks talented but lacking in cohesion.

Lot's of one-on-one and very little teamwork offensively.

The talent appears to be overrated as well. Noel looks closer to Mamadou N'diaye than Anthony Davis.

No shame in saying he's not as good as Davis. That dude could dominate a game without scoring a point.

I've seen mock drafts that have four of these Cat freshmen going in the first round this comin draft.

Obviously but I know this is a weak draft but he seems like a very good shotblocker and that's about it.

Counting on freshmen every year, even the best supposedly best freshmen will eventually catch up with you.

Did you know there's another Mamadou Ndiaye that's a high school senior this year? Dude is 7'5"!

Every week it seems a team in college sports is getting screwed.

Think there's a village in Senegal where they name everybody Mamadou N'Diaye.

Don't know why they didn't look at the replay much.

Vandy got screwed worse though. But they deserve some it for playing in that makeshift arena they call a basketball court. No shot clocks on the backboard.

One of these days I am going to bump up all of my threads from November where I said Noel was the first top 3 recruit in Rivals/Scout/ESPNU history and that this UK team would be out of the top 25 several times this season.

I take back (some of) my criticisms of Stallings. He has been giving jack shite with this team and done MUCH more than I ever thought he could. This team may not make the tournament and could still be his best coaching job

I know Cal's teams get shite for FT shooting, but I saw a stat during the game that Vandy doesn't have a single player shooting better than 66%.

It's a shitty rule, but this should clarify any confusion about the call.

eh solid prediction, but not that bold. this team was obviously weaker than previous ones.

im not gonna lie, it's pretty refreshing to see kentucky and unc struggle a little bit. it's also equally annoying to see duke remain as consistently awesome as kansas.
