That's overkill. Ricky Williams only fetched two first-rounders. Three should be enough to get it done.

Ricky Williams isn’t a QB

Bengals are a better franchise than the dolphins. People harp on cincy’s track record so much and how nice miami is, but miami has been worse since jay fiedler lucked out a playoff win 20 years ago

I mean, are we just all forgetting they told drew brees, “no thanks” and rolled out the red caroet for daunte stallpepper?

don't think anyone is saying they arent.

but they're both VERY bad franchises.

But Joe will turn around either.

I'd prefer he'd go to a big market team thats valuable and has history.

Maybe the Giants can trade Daniel Jones

Sorry wouldn't really live anywhere else than where I am.

No i agree with you. I’m talking about the people who can’t fathom not everyone is looking to live some entourage lifestyle in miami.

And judge one organization to be better because “the beach”

RBs were valued differently when he played. Not as much as QBs but probably the second most coveted position

Actually some probably valued RBs more.

I'm a PHINATIC. I love my Dolphins, I love Burrow but NOBODY, no player, absolutely none is worth your 3 1st round picks!!
As much as I'd love to have Burrow in Miami we need to draft linemen. Tannehill would have been much better if he'd had a good o-line in Miami and not had so many coaching changes while he was there. Most peolpdont realize how many coaches and offensive coordinators/offenses he went through in Miami

Only because the future is unknown. Hindsight is 20/20 but obviously if you could go back in time only knowing how great manning would be, you would have no problems trading 3 first round picks for him

High risk/high reward. I would do it. Either i’m going down as an all time idiot or the biggest fricking genius ever

Basically i would give up minkah fitzpatrick and laremy tunsil for who i think is the next manning

Miami seems appealing because of the draft picks but if they empty the cupboard to get Burrow that appeal evaporates. But the Bengals really have been a terrible franchise recently propped up modestly by Marvin Lewis (and pre-injury AJ Green).

A good indication of just how hopeless it is in Cincinnati for good players was Carson Palmer considering Phoenix a major upgrade. And it was. The last phase of Palmer's career was much more successful in AZ than it would have been in Cincinnati.

Carson palmer has cultivated a story that he was greater than he was. An all time great held back by an all time terrible franchise

He had a HOF tackle, HOF receiver, another pro bowl receiver, and some good backs and defenses. He didnt get it done, there was a rebuild phase he didn’t want to stick around for and mike brown wouldn’t let him decide who they were going to sign, cut, etc. after listening to palmer bit him in the arse previously (Terrell owens)

He was an awesome QB no doubt, but his whole blame mike brown for my career routine is old. He wanted to leave, great. Mike brown never said a bad word about him.

Makes me think palmer is probably a massive twat

Somebody was saying that the Bengals don’t even have an indoor practice facility. Hard to believe with the winters they have in Ohio. Sounds like Joe will enjoy less amenities in Cincinnati than he did at LSU. But he’ll be very rich, so there’s that.

I almost never run into anyone with strong opinions about Carson Palmer. Your description of him as an awesome quarterback is better than most would argue IMO. I think he was a solid pro who helped his teams but was never elite and would have had more wins if he hadn't played for three terrible franchises.

Anyway I didn't think anyone would want to hijack this into a Carson Palmer or Mike Brown conversation. Seems like talking about Stafford and Caldwell - who cares?
