Helton is probably done after this year and the Seahawks run is over.

Could see them starting over soon.

Helton will survive another year for no other reason than USC's administration in currently a mess. The university still needs a president and basically an entire new administration. Football is a low priority for the university and has been for the past 5 years or so, which sucks.

Pete is the oldest coach in the NFL. He's not coming back to college football to deal with 17 year olds and their parents again.

As an SC fan, the only condition I’d accept one more year of Helton is if Martin, the OL coach, and special teams coach are all gone. Martin needs to be relieved of playcalling duties immediately.

However, no matter the circumstances, I’d much prefer carroll at usc next year than helton.

I'd be stunned if Helton and Martin aren't both here next year. USC has zero commitment to football and isn't going to spend money getting rid of those guys.

I just have no idea who could be that coach for them right now.
