I have been playin decent online so I figured I would give it a shot. My first question, besides not giving away tells is what should I expect to do differently in a live cash tourney then online. Also, can I bring a backpack in? The last thing is should I go in there with shades on and headphones and act like I know what im doing or what? I guess I am just a little anxious and am looking to get some info.

Good luck. In a live game I would play a little tighter, but it just usual depends on your table and how well you get a read on them. As far as I know you can bring a backpack in. If it makes you feel more comfortable id wear the shades and headphones. but sometimes other players and dealers will get annoyed if you cant hear the action with the headphones

What tourney plays next? I'd like to see an Omaha or Stud tournament.

Thought I would fill you guys in on my first live tourney. 70 entrants and 12 places paid. I'm not gonna lie I was nervous for some reason at the beggining. I even called out of turn twice. Anyway I hit few sets early on but the blinds were to small for it to matter much. Then I got cold for the most part of the middle of the tourney, tried bluffing a few times just to steal blinds to no avail. Made it to the final 18 when 2 guys at the other table busted early. 16 left and I am low stack at my table. I get pocket 3s in the small blind and push all in. BB calls with Q/10 hearts, here is where my sob story begins. Some old dude who looks like he jsut crawled out from under an overpass calls both all ins w A9 off. He has about 20k, the BB and I both had about 12k. Flop comes 846 rainbow, turn is 7, and river of course is 5, to give the bumfights coverboy the higher straight.if I win that pot I triple up and finally have some chips to play w. I said nice hand like a smartass as the other dude chimed in and said fricking donks. I know I only had 3's but who calls two all in raises w A9. Maybe I'm wrong I'm just pissed.

I had a good time anyway. First time is a learning experience and if you don't play you don't learn anything. I will be back for plenty more.

We should have a Tigerdroppings tournament again, just not sure which website would be a good choice.

my favorite one is flopping a boat like 3KK with 33 and some ignorant frick goes all in with Q10 or something and it comes KK and they win with a Q kicker
