If I was this guy and playing on Day 3 of the WSOP ME, I think I'd shoot someone:

quote:

There was already more than 40,000 in the middle by the time we caught up with Yevgeniy Timoshenko firing 23,500 at a 9s, 8s, 7c flop. Darren Maroni thought a bit before moving all in. It barely took Timoshenko a second to make the call, risking his last 127,000. "Nice hand," Timoshenko said when he saw that Maroni had flopped the nut straight with Jh10h. His own KK was in rough shape. The K turn gave him boat outs, however. Maroni held his breath, hoping the river wouldn't pair the board. No one was expecting to see the case K.
"Oh my god! Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me?" was all the poor guy could say. Timoshenko stayed silent about his runner-runner quads, counting out his stack to be doubled. Timoshenko now has 290,000 while a stunned Maroni was left with 25,000.

Good play BB

quote:

Seven-Bet All In Gives Jim Collopy 520K

There was massive preflop action between Jim Collopy and a player in the big blind. Jim Collopy opened to 4,000. The player in the big blind made it 12,700. Collopy made it 29,000. The big blind made it 60,000. Collopy made it 109,000. His opponent shoved all in and Collopy called for his tournament life. About 520,000 was in the pot when Collopy exposed the KK and his opponent tabled the A3. The ace in the door was scary for Collopy but the flop also brought a king. The board read AKQA when the board paired on the turn. Collopy’s opponent had outs to win but none of the came when the 10 fell on the river. Collopy was at 520,000 after the hand

is this PN fricking up again?

Rockets Serve Varkonyi
Posted 1 minute ago by Shamus

A short-stacked player was all in for 40,000 with KQ, but unfortunately for him had run up against Robert Varkonyi's AA.

The board came J-Q-8-4-Q, and another player has hit the rail. Varkonyi now has 220,000.

Kopp is out

quote:

Kopp Colored, Runs Second Nuts into Nuts
Posted 1 minute ago by SantanaBandana

Kopp before busting
After a series of preflop raises, Billy "Patrolman35" Kopp and Nicolas Babel took a flop of 8-8-4. They both checked.

Fireworks exploded after the A turned. Kopp checked-raised Babel all in, and Babel snapped it off with the stone cold nuts.

Showdown
Kopp: AA
Babel: 88

Kopp needed the case ace to survive, but found no help from the K on the river. Kopp hit the rail while Babel ballooned to 500,000 chips.

10% horse runs the 70k stack back up to 150k only to end the last level with AJs < K5s for 51k. TT < AK for 70k. AK < KT on a AQ8AJ board for 100k.

Down to 55k with an hour of 300/1.2k/2.4k. :(
