Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Shohei Ohtani's 50th home run ball sold for $4.392 million at auction, including buyer's premium, shattering the record paid for a baseball -- or any sports ball, for that matter.
The previous high price was Mark McGwire's record-breaking 70th home run ball from the 1998 MLB season, which Spawn creator Todd McFarlane paid $3 million for in early 1999.

Why would someone pay that much for a baseball??? What use does it have??? Just bragging rights???

Because they have more money than they know what to do with it. I wish I had that problem. And probably bragging rights too.

One thing you can count on for sure in this game. Joe Davis is not going to STFU. I can’t stand him when he does Dodgers games and he’s even worse for these national games. Dude loves sucking himself off. Bring back Joe Buck

Sometimes I'll mute the play by play just so I don't have to listen to him. FOX has Burkhardt, Amin, Kugler amongst others in the stable. Yet they always scrape the bottom of the barrel for broadcasters in the playoffs.

It’s not a problem during the regular season as MLBTV app lets you listen to the radio broadcast and it’s synced up perfectly. Can’t really do that for these games.

Jerry and Avery are furiously masturbating right now.
2-0 Yanks.

Interesting. I haven't used the MLB app in a long time. But years ago, the app had the home and away team's radio feed available for the playoffs. Maybe they got rid of it though.

I said it last night: Flaherty isn't that great on the road and the Dodgers offense will have to bring it tonight.

Flaherty has to get pulled now.
