Can the college towns support the 3rd world and eurotrash crowds that comes from around the world to root for their shitty teams?

LSU deals with Bama fans every other year, so I say yes.

It needs to be at the largest stadium available in an area that can support the crowd. That rules out pretty much every college stadium. #13 and #15 are both in Los Angeles

Again, Ohio Stadium would be perfect. Over 105,000 fans. Columbus population is 2.3 Million people and has all the amenities to support such a influx of people. Columbus hosts The Arnold Classic every year which brings in hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over the world. Having a semifinal in the Horsehoe would be increcible.

Below is Ohio Stadium hosting Real Madrid.

And why is that again? Columbus is a booming city. 14th largest city in the country. It has a bigger metropolitan area than Indy, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Nashville etc....Columbus is great city! Some haters in here.

No. We just know that Columbus will never host a world cup semifinal or final.

If you think the third city in Ohio could host a World Cup final, you are high as a kite.

Does anyone else feel like MetLife Stadium would be an extremely generic venue to host an event like this?

Most pro stadiums are pretty generic.
