Baw, we were outnumbered by Mexicans in sporting events during Trump v1, Obama, W, Clinton, HW, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon...

Are there more Mexico fans here? That is crazy

It’s Texas. Last Astros game I went to (good seats just to the 3rd base side of home plate), I think my son and I were the only people speaking English near us.

Been that way for decades. Mexicans have very few opportunities to watch their country play sports. Add to that you're playing in a major city right by the border with several million Mexicans. What did you expect? Houston had millions of Mexicans long before Biden

Lmao Smoltz talking about how American Skenes is just his way of taking digs at Skubal for being a pussy and returning to Spring Training

Home country is such a shithole you come to America and then cheer for the country you left. Frick Mexico and their beaner fans.

It is a privilege to watch Paul Skenes pitch for Team USA.

He only threw 40 pitches in his outing. Don't see why he couldn't stay and throw what he'll be throwing anyways in spring training. None of our pitchers are being extended more than 3-4 innings

If you moved overseas permanently for work, would you start rooting against the United States?

I think it's really dumb how much of an importance teams put on Opening Day starter.

That's the only reason Skubal is done after 1 outing.

I’m half Sicilian and I’m not repping team Italy, you only see this from third world shitholes.

I think it's more about him being an unrestricted FA after this year. but still, he's got back to back cy youngs. he's getting a bag no matter what happens this season basically

Add to that opening day isn't for 3 more weeks. The WBC ends 10 days before opening day. So twice as long as these dudes have between starts during the season

It’s either 40 pitches for the US or 40 pitches for the Tigers in spring training and he chose spring training. frick that self-centered prick

Nah, he's literally said it's to keep him on track to make the OD start.
