Curious about the board’s opinion on this, due to them both signing extensions this offseason.

Would you rather CJ McCollum on 5 years 157 million or Draymond Green on 5 years 118 million? Draymond is a year older (29 vs 28).

ETA: Average annual salary for CJ is 31.4 mil, and for Draymond is 23.6 mil.

CJ doesn't have the extra playoff mileage of Draymond and is a better locker room guy... I don't see CJ running off anybody

McCollum is a 2nd fiddle and arguably a top 5 sg in the league.

I can literally plug McCollum into nearly any team and he will replicate his value. I'm not sure Draymond can do that on half his teams.

They are kinda the same, but totally different in regards to their roles on teams. They are both either a second fiddle, or 3rd best player on a good team, but one derives his value from being a terminator on offense, and the other derives his value from being elite defensively, and being a secondary ballhandler/distributer on offense.

I just think it’s an interesting comparison.
