Let's imagine that the NCAA were to sack up, call a spade a spade, and reverse the outcome. Taking away the last play and officially declaring WMU the winner of the game 12-7.

Detroit's bowl game is gone. That would have been the best chance for a rematch. Let's hope Michigan goes 6-6 and Western has a winning record and they meet in some bowl game somehow.
