The old Big IX South used to be about as lopsided as the Big 10 East is now. However, a Big IX North team would occasionally pull an upset in the title game.
Wisconsin is solid enough to play with anybody. They are ranked too high, but are capable of knocking off the East champion in the title game.

Washington and Notre Dame and Penn State and Ohio State don’t deserve to be ranked or selected ahead of Wisconsin.
Until Wisconsin loses they should be considered top 5. If OSU beats them then of course they should be dropped by selection committee.

Wisconsin should be ranked 2. I dont think they are the 2nd best team, but they would beat Miami on any field. Oklahoma is 2nd but they shouldnt be ranked 2nd because Wisconsin undefeated.
