"BCS Teams Played: USC 1 Utah 0
Non-BCS Teams Played: USC 0 Utah 9"

(1) Notre Dame doesn't play in a BCS conference.

(2) Why are BCS schools objectively better than non-BCS schools? The MWC was 6-1 against the Pac10

I vote that for LSU's OOC scheduling mantra.

[ off topic Matt: WHo "objectively" deserved to go to the BCS NC? ]

Funny, Florida is the only team in the SEC to play 13 games (12 because of the Citadel). And every team has an OPEN DATE. It's about scheduling South Florida, East Carolina, Houston, etc; just not a former Div 1-AA team.

Oklahoma and Texas had the two toughest schedules of 1-loss teams. I do think something is said for winning your conference (and avoiding rematches) and Florida had the next toughest schedule. I am a fan of the "checks and balances" of the voters/computers and the voters trumped the computers in favor of UF.

Utah has a case. Undefeated with their schedule is probably not as impressive as 1-loss of the Big3 (the computers think so), but they did everything they could do

You stopped just short. So who, UT and Texas?

Ok.

At least Nine Interdivisional games. It says it right there if you had listened during Reading Comprehension.

Notre Dame is Independent, therefore their games don't count (12 games). That's okay though, because they are 6-6.

Ohio State only plays eight Interdivisional games (No Indiana or Purdue this year). That's a -2.

There's "your" faulty math.

Yep. Right on that one.

Have no concept on the rest of what you are talking about.

Why is USC ranked above...
"BCS Teams Played: USC 1 Utah 0
Non-BCS Teams Played: USC 0 Utah 9"

Could have been clearer here.

"BCS Teams played" means the ten teams that are playing in the Orange, Sugar, Fiesta, Rose and BCS Championship Game. USC beat Ohio State. Florida beat Alabama, etc.

"Non BCS teams" are regular season games against teams that are not part of the BCS system.

Fair is good for kindergarten. I want to see the two best teams play, and I'm just not convinced OU is better than Texas.

No, which are more "deserving"? You seem less objective today.

Well I have seen 2 loss teams get hot and that I think would beat certain undefeated BCS teams. Would you advocate that team going over the undefeated? of course not.

College football has always been about the most deserving. But even w/o that if my life depended on it I would take OU over Texas RIGHT NOW on a neutral field

See USC and UGA last year, who didn't lose 2 of their last 3 games. Two teams who played in the lowest rated MNC game ever did...

That game on a neutral field's already been decided.

I'd take USC over Oregon State RIGHT NOW on a neutral field, but we don't have the benefit of mulligans in college football.

Two exceptions: Wake Forest who lost to Navy and Houston, who lost to Air Force earlier this season will meet again in bowl games.

So who, IYO is most desereving this year. In your 'fairness' statement, you seemed less than objective, even perhaps contradicting your previous stance, on the BCS
