Why is the MVP hugging off the defender instead of demanding the ball?

Eric gordon is the alpha when Paul is out. This is really, really sad.

Its because the mvp of nba has become a joke of an award.

They give it to anyone but the true mvp and they got the wrong james.

James Harden and Trevor Ariza are fricking trash.

I know it’s fun to hate on Harden, but the dude was dead. Playing 6 guys in a 7 game series is going to make for some miserable 4th quarters.

Making 2/12 three pointers a game and not playing defense should automatically take you out of the running for MVP.

Yea the same thing happened to SSOL Suns when he was there. Losing Chris Paul was devastating for more reasons than just losing arguably their best player; they lost a warm body who could actually play against the Warriors. They tried to let Ryan Anderson play and he got absolutely fricked on D. Can’t play him against Steph Curry, he’ll get sought out every time.

Harden is having to work more than LeBron has on D because the Warriors were seeking him out every possession.

Harden is a fraud. He’s been disappearing in important games since he was at Arizona State. I had more confidence in Eric Gordon throughout the series than I did in Harden.

I guess they wanted to remind everyone that he's useless before attempting to offload him this offseason

Last night when they were in their epic 3-pt shot drought, they would pass the ball around and you could tell no one wanted to take the shot.
