MLB should play a game in other places in order to attempt to grow the brand. Play one game a year kind of like they are doing with the Field of Dreams game. Play in Alaska (one game every few years or so, etc)

I’m gonna regret typing this but Goodell appears to be the best of the four. I mean it’s white speckle territory but let’s look at the others:

NBA - Adam Silver is a damn political hack that placates the players more than the owners. Bubble title, starting the trend of forcing owners to sell, hell even changing the name of owners to “governors” because owners implies slavery. His best contribution was the play-in tournament.

NHL - How the hell does Gary Bettman have his job. The situation in Arizona is grounds alone. Then add in the multiple lockouts and cancelled seasons, and it’s surprising he’s still around.

MLB - Well Rob Manfred may have the best challenge to Goodells throne but yeah he screwed the pooch with the ASG fiasco. Give him credit for expanding playoffs and attempting to speed up the game. However, the extra inning rules are bad.

NFL - Roger loves his big markets and poster boys. Has made everything a spectacle and will easily protect the big markets over the small. And is so fricken blind to the product that he actually defended the referees, which was universally been bad since the No Call.

I haven’t heard that either. But his job with the NBA is much different than nfl or mlb. The players basically run the NBA. That’s not the case in the other two sports.
