Why even have computer rankings when humans get the final say?

Might as well go back to the AP poll with their rankings picking playoff teams.

The computer model had Alabama at #4 and FSU at #3
No one (here) cares about FSU being left out, they care about Alabama being in
ETA: I made a mistake. The computer model actually had Alabama at #3 and FSU at #4. Texas was #5 in the BCS model

Nonsense. Bama getting in is a positive for Ohio State, and I still think it's bullshite that Florida State was left out. They should've been #3, over Texas and Bama.
