During the anthem? Problem solved.

They should just stop playing the anthem.

If the coaches want to make the players stand, the coaches would make the players stand. I personally don't care.

How about the NFL hires people who look like Martin Luther King Jr to sing national anthem for each NFL game? How can anyone sit if MLK is singing?

Espn would then turn not being on the field into a racist issue. There's no winning with their lines of thought

That's pretty pathetic in itself to come to such thinking
We just continue to get worse

It's good to know who the real selfish idiots are any ways and who loves the country and
They are actually getting less interest
It will fade

Boo. You are better than that.....
Look, these guys have freedom of speech and freedom of expression, but decide to turn it into a racial issue once they are held accountable for their freedom of speech and freedom of expression. You can say just about anything you want in this country, but that doesn't mean you aren't accountable for it.
People advocating on behalf of Kapernick and alleging that his lack of hiring is racist are missing the point. His lack of employment has nothing to do with the color of his skin, but is the result of his actions and the fact that he is viewed as an entity too toxic to hire. No owner wants to deal with the same (or worse) blowback Kapernick received. It's bad for their business and that is why he isn't employed.

" Missing the point" that is exactly why this situation is as ugly as it is. Everyone is missing the point of that reason why he did what he did. Then it turned into disrespecting the flag then racism. That what happens with freedom of speech and voicing your opinion the actual purpose is overlooked. That's why owners don't want to give him a job because of what people will say

Who.Gives.A.frick
The greatest thing about this great country is people get to express their beliefs in any non-violent and/or non-destructive way they feel like. Whether anyone else agrees or not is irrelevant.
Let it fricking go.
