the only game they really got embarrassed is against UF in 06. OSU was a heavy underdog against LSU. OSU has more than held their own over the years

if you lay out all the coaches from Big10 and SEC and ranked them, Urban Meyer is the only one that would even be considered to be one of the top 5 coaches between the 2 conferences. That says something. And he hasnt even coached a game in the big10.

Yeah, it just irritates me that both teams in the Outback Bowl are better than their conference counterparts in the Cap One. The games should've been the opposite. MSU and UGA should be in Orlando.

LOL WHAT?

good players don't want to play for the clowns that coach in the big10. I mean it all trickles down.

I think the SEC has the best coaches at the top. The biggest brain gain in the offseason was the Pac 12. Big Ten guys like Dantonio, Hoke, Fitzgerald, and Beilema are quality coaches. Fitzgerald's stock seems to be declining every year though.

MSU's defensive front is pretty legit.

I think it is the other way around. Coaches want to go to a school where they have a chance to recruit kids to win a championship. Only at OSU can you do that in the B1G, thus the more desirable jobs are in the Southeast.

If a coach is offered the same amount of money at Illinois or Georgia, where do you think the coach is going?

Apparently they should have named the divisions "Myths" and "Legends"...

The best players in the country come from the Southeast (black players). It is no wonder that the SEC is the best college football conference. You would think the ACC would be a little better than they are, but the B1G probably finishes right where they belong every year if you look at the recruiting rankings of the teams.

Michigan and Penn State should draw top notch head coaches.

there arent many jobs in the SEC better than those. but it is almost getting to a point that they are losing their luster because neither has been very successful lately
