You wanna talk about arrogance? UNC has that perfected. Some of the most pretentious people you'll ever meet.
Many on this board have mentioned UNC as a potential addition to the SEC, but that's laughable as they look down their snobby noses at us. 80% of the student population is liberal arts majors who won't do shite with their expensive degrees unless they go to grad school. UNC has a shitty ROI.
"The Carolina way" is one of their mottos. Meaning they do things with integrity.
In reality we have all seen they've been one of the most corrupt schools there is over the past 10-15 years with multiple scummy coaches.
Their ties to the ACC resemble that of Bama to the SEC in regards to corrupt officials.
And a vast majority of their fan base are walmart fans who never could've gotten into such a prentious and exclusive school. It's like Bama fan nation but worse social gap between the alumni/students and the fan base.
Eta: and UNC fans go out of the way to claim NC State isn't their rival, yet they cum all over themselves anytime they beat us. Even if it's the 10th time in a row.

Ha, the Michigan alums are the good fans. The Walmart Wolverines are the insufferable ones, mocking a Michigan State degree when they never got past Jiffy lube. I really don't hate OSU like I used to -- they have a lot of trash t-shirt fans, but Michigan is not unlike them in that respect. I have found that Michigan fans kind of hate ND more at this point due to ND's air of superiority.
OSU fans only annoy me because they kind of get like UK hoops with their insanity. I swear, some of them on here post in these playoff ranking threads like the committee is going to read their hundreds of posts on the subject. Urbs can go suck a dick, though, and I think OSU fans know deep down he is a skunk. But, he fits the whole win at all cost attitude like Cal at UK. The decline of Michigan and rise of OSU/Urbs has at least made OSU public enemy number one in the conference (well, maybe next to Tom Crean).

The Tiger Rag used to be a great game - but that was back in ancient times. LSU and Tulane still play good games in the Olympic sports, however.
There is a segment of our fanbase that still considers LSU to be a rival, but I find that laughable.
Tulane doesn't have a rival - and hasn't had one for about 20 years. I wouldn't mind it if Tulane developed a new one.

Hate ucla because of proximity. Family and friends are split about 50/50, and that familiarity breeds the utmost contempt.
Their zenith is our nadir, and unfortunately the sanctions have made it easy for them. Next year we'll end their brief foray into success and negate their flirtation with relevance.

Don't hate Oregon State, just see them as another team from Oregon. I pull for them when they don't play Oregon or when it doesn't mess up SOS for us.
Hate Washington. That's a rivalry. Seattlites look down on Portland, Husky fans look down on the Ducks. They believe UW is a "public ivy" and they talk shite about the all time record even though we have won 11 in a row and dominated the series since 1995. They can have their archaic accomplishments for all I care. A lot of good it's done them in the last two decades.
