Saints fans do hate the Seahawks, but so does most other fan bases. Reasons why most Saints fans hate them:

1)Playoff loss the first go round
2)Seasonal loss last year
3)Playoff loss last year
4)12th man B/S. They've taken over the general consensus title of "hardest places to play" from the Saints
5)They're arrogant as frick
6)Dik Sherman
7)Pete Carroll and his USC ties
8)Their offensive weapons, aside from Lynch and Wilson, are in the bottom 5 of the NFL yet they still continue to win
9)They're arrogant as frick
10)Their stadium enhances their crowd noise and gives an unfair advantage
11)Funny how they play all their tough games at home
12)Their mascot is a bird. We hate all teams with a mascot as a bird.

The only thing that was louder was the music being played through the speakers. The actual crowd wasn't. I caught two perspectives being on the field and in the stands.

-2013 Divisional Series

All tough, nationally televised losses.

That's dumb to hate a team that's beaten you, but you don't face regularly.

Why don't the Saints fans hate the Browns? Or the Ravens?

As I said before, there are really only 5-6 teams that Saints fans should hate.

1. SF
2. STL
3. ATL
4. CAR
5. DAL
6. Maybe MIN - but we got past that in the NFCCG

That's it.

So did we

They hit 137+ decibels on the int.

It wasn't even close. Way louder than the Dome and Tiger Stadium

Not to mention that the numbers confirm my opinion

You know how easy it is to lie about that?

Dude, I was there. You are wrong.

Dude, I was there too... I've made that point pretty clear

I was at all the games I listed. It was the loudest sporting event I have ever attended.

So LSU and the Saints decided not to?

You realize the Saints brought Guinness for the world record the next week

Cause I was a fan of the Saints when a game couldn't get broadcast on television.

Go radio or go home.

It's a fricking gimmick. It wasn't as loud as the Dome. Go put on a number 12 Seahawks jersey and frick off.

This cracks me up. Literally every Saints fan says this. Like they were the only one listening to Jim Henderson's radio calls when we use to have blackouts. "Man, you're not a Saints fan. I use to listen to games on the radio during the blackouts". SO DID EVERYONE ELSE!!!!

So I am a Seahawks fan now due to a functioning brain?

I've been at pretty much every Saints game for the last decade. Seattle was noticeably and measurably louder, even with my bias. I didn't think it was possible going in. It was shared by 20 other LSU/Saints fans.

Grow up

I went to the Monday night game last year, and that stadium is loud as shite. The only time I've heard the dome louder was the blocked punt in 06, and the end of the NFCCG in the dome.

I just don't see why you automatically dismiss my opinion because you and your 20 bros agree.

Guess what? The 20 people I was with said the Dome was louder. Several have been to many, if not all, stadiums in the NFL.

I didn't. I also looked up the numbers to confirm my opinion.

Saints-Seattle --> 137.6 decibels
LSU - UF --> 130 decibels
Saints - Patriots --> 119 decibels

Says the one who came in with this:

Take your tampon out and don't take a message board personally. It was shocking to me how much louder it was than the Dome and Tiger Stadium. Blew my mind

So the two loudest Saints moments (Gleason block & NFCCG) aren't even on that list.

Congrats. You bought into a media-driven hype. The good news is I know a good audiologist in the metro that I can refer you to

I dont like seattle, but I respect them and pulled for them in the superbowl. I think most saints fans talk about them because they have been a roadblock for us twice now in the postseason. I don't know any saints fan that truly hates seattle, most hate is directed at Atlanta.

7 decibels approximately 5% difference?

separated by months if not years, should be pretty hard to discern with the naked ear, from memory.

I still listen to the radio.

Only the radio.
