So are the other 3....You're asking why these are cheaper than the other 3 majors. It's because it's the least popular. It's not cheaper than the Shell Houston Open.

Really? I mean to each his own, but the only way I could conceive it being better than the Masters is a larger field. And the Open has a larger field than the PGA.

Hell, if that's the criteria, last week's tournament should be a Major. It had 48 of the top 50 players in the world rankings.

Jesus Christ, no... Rochester is a decent city, obviously not bustling now that Kodak and Xerox aren't corporate giants anymore, but it's still not a cow-town in Southern Louisiana

Rochester isn't a bad place to be. Wine country nearby (Finger Lakes), Canada to the north, Buffalo to the West.

Rochester is also a big golf city - they love it. Walter Hagen was from Rochester.
