Why are baseball managers/coaches hired to be fired?

I know that the job of a baseball manager or coach is to win ballgames and to win World Series championships, but why so quick and so easily?

Joe Girardi-fired
Don Mattingly (Dodgers)-fired
The successful managers (Stengel, Torre, Bochy, La Russa, Cox, Gaston) worked pretty well with their rosters and got talent, did they?

Matheney was in place 7 years and took a World Series winning team to get worse every year, now missing playoffs 3 years in a row

Cubs ruined them in 2015. Haven’t gotten over it yet. Matheny is an old school guy that is taking the fall for an organization that cheated and can’t even properly utilize a bogus market pick they get annually. Won’t attract any free agents for the foreseeable future either after the treatment of Fowler.
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving fan base.
