I don't have a problem with booing coaches. Hell, I booed Gary Crowton/Miles' offensive gameplans on the regular. I think most can understand the difference and separate the two.
I do take very strong issue with booing players, which I recall happening once in my lifetime, when Jefferson entered the game for the first time following his suspension in 2011. It disgusted me then and it disgusts me now.
To be fair, the media did a bang-up job of painting Jefferson as some kind of monster that preyed on an innocent, God-fearing American hero. The idiotic public took it and ate it up. We know more now.

Agreed. You can boo the coaches because they are paid. The players are doing the very best they can.
Now professional athletes is a different story.
