Disagree. Both were very very talented, but I don't think injuries were the only thing that prevented Griffey from putting up long term Bonds-like numbers.
Even if Griffey had stayed healthy, he had a shite work ethic, terrible diet/never worked out, and wasn't very tough mentally. Sorry, but that is part of being the GOAT--you have to have the basic intelligence to know that you need to adjust, and take care of yourself, as you age. I think he would have faded even if he avoided major injury simply because he was so used to coasting on talent.
Bonds grew out of his shite work ethic, and was a much smarter hitter and player than Griffey ever was. Bonds also had a world class metagame where he was usually smarter and mentally ahead of the pitcher he was facing.
