No it isn't the same "feeling" Oregon had. Cautiously optimistic is how I would describe most OSU fans feelings. Or at least mine...

You don't see any OSU fans wearing this:

Michigan State is a good team, they could definitely challenge Ohio State. I like OSU in that matchup though. As good as their defense is, that offense needs some help.

The 2 may cancel out but OSU will have the advantage in special teams. Game can go either way.

But before crowning OSU/MSU to Indy, they both have to win out first. Nebraska, Minnesota and potentially North Western can give them a game.

I think State would have to lose twice to not make it to Indy

And since OSU beat Wisco, wouldnt they have to lose twice not to get there?

Depends on if one of those loses is to Nebraska this weekend.

They play Michigan this week in AA. I think Michigan wins.

Oops. You are right.

So if Nebraska wins out they would get in over MState.

It blows my mind that OSU hasn't played a top 10 team in the regular season since 2009. LSU and Bama have each played 8 top 10 teams in that same span.

OSU is almost on the same level as Boise St. was in 2008 and 2009.

That is definitely not true

2009, Ohio State beat Iowa who finished in the AP top 10 and also won a BCS bowl that year.

2010, Ohio State played Wisconsin, would lose Rose Bowl but finished top 10.

2011, Ohio state beat a russell wilson/montee ball team. Lost to Oregon but Finished #10 in the AP.

I won't turn on the TV for Florida State/BAMA. FSU fans are a bastardized version of SEC fans. I would love for tOSU or Baylor to get in but I am doubtful of it. FSU has no one that will challenge them.

Not even close.

Those Boise state teams were 3 star player laden teams with an even easier schedule.

Ohio State has a great offensive line. People who think they are BSU level are idiots. Their oline gets DL standing straight up and down. It may be some of the best leverage I've seen all year. With Hyde and Braxton they are physical too.

This is the best Ohio State offensive line in 10+ years, since those Orlando Pace olines in the 90s. Straight up dominant.

Carlos Hyde has not been tackled for loss yet this season. Thats a testament to him but more to OSU's offensive line.

Hyde too has been playing like one of the best, if not the best RB in CFB last 3 weeks. He's a beast

You are all the same - marginal athletes, slow compared to other conferences and frankly too white.

You just proved that you know absolutely NOTHING about Ohio State football because your stereotype of them couldn't be further from the truth. Ohio State is just as fast in team speed as Oregon and they are BIGGER and STRONGER just like Stanford was. Carlos Hyde would decimate the Oregon defense running the ball and we won't even get into what Braxton Miller would do running and throwing the ball against them. It would be ugly.

Stanford on the other hand would present some serious issues.

I love how he also forgets that OSU beat Oregon in 2010. I can remember the same argument being stated ad nauseam before that game.

Its even funnier that the team that just beat Oregon is the same type of team he is downplaying.

I certainly hope that Oregon's game plan would be better. Oregon has size on the DL they just decided to be stubborn and only put three DL with their hands in the dirt and stick with two gap defense. I blame the staff for how miserable our defense looked. I wouldn't expect Oregon's defense to lay an egg like that. They could but it's also possible that they could come out playing well. There are some great athletes with size on the defense.

I get your point. I just see Ohio State as having the type of team that would give Oregon fits. Enough talent and speed on defense to slow them down and an offense with explosive play makers and a downright dominant offensive line.

Nothing against you. You seem to be pretty reasonable. It's just Zamoro and his hatred of Ohio State that blinds any semblance of objectivity.
