ok, can we get rid of the 2002 OSU team as the worst in 10 years since it has been 11 years since that team?

we could revise it to say who is the worst team to PLAY in the MNC game in the last 11 years and OSU could get 3 possible nods.

You didn't. I was simply using your post as a soap box against those who mentioned '09 Alabama in previous pages of this thread.

Well anyone that says 09 Alabama is either trolling or ignorant.

Meh, I'd say Troy or Jason were worse. Troy especially.

OSU

Jason White still got it even after getting his shite pushed in by Kansas State.

The BCS champion teams that haven't gone undefeated in the BCS era.

'12 Bama
'11 Bama
'08 Florida
'07 LSU
'06 Florida
'03 LSU

Shows the power of perception and agenda and the politics of a popularity contest of the BCS that most recent of Bama's "titles" in the BCS era of teams that lost and of course, one didn't even win their own division - let alone conference...and only Auburn in the last couple of years was undefeated.

College football has felt like it's been down since 2006.

No great super teams after 2006.

The worst "BCS champ" should probably come from the list above.

We had the #1 sos in 06 and the #2 sos in 08.

2008 Florida lost one game to a mediocre opponent by 1 point. It happens. You get a pass.

Every championship team has a close game.

2001 Miami beat @ VaTech by 2 points.
2004 USC beat @ UCLA by 5 points.

The only knock is Florida did it at home and of course, didn't prevail.

I like how a top 15 team that destroyed 11-1 Texas Tech is considered "mediocre."
