You don't like Tiger as a person so you discredit what he's done on and off the course.

I sure am glad we've got that cleared up.

Ok fine... Tiger is SOOOOOO good for golf that he thought he was ABOVE everything and was untouchable until he got busted by his wifr for years of being unfaithful.. Got beat up with a 9 iron... Yup that's a great influence for any young golf fan..... He then was stupid enough told think he was sooo important that he had a press conference to discuss his SEXUAL problems... It was not a sexual problem.. It was an EGO problem... Yup he is a great influence on young golf fans... His career has gone downhill ever since and he lost almost every sponsers..... Yup he is great for the game OFF the course..... Plus there is no telling what REALLY happened last year when he was found passed out on the WRONG side f the raod with a smashed up vehicle wacked out on drugs... Gee I wonder how his car got so damaged???? Did he likk someone that night??? I doubt he remembers..... Yup he is a GREAT influence for golf fans OFF the course...

Please tell me WHEN Jack did things like this.....

Remember YOU said you wanted to talk about OFF the course.........

When did I say I didn't like him... Just stating facts about his character issues .. THEY DO matter........

The golfing world has welcomed him back with open arms. The only people that it matters to are one's that are losing debates about his impact on golf and need to bring his personal life into it.

so do the tens of millions he's donated to charity and tens of millions he's raised for charity. So does the 175000 youth golfers he's provided with golf instruction and an education. Nick Faldo had every bit as much off the course female drama as Tiger Woods but that didn't stop him from being knighted by the Queen of England. Rich people cheat on their wives. That doesn't mean they do not do a whole lot of good work for less fortunate people.

It's just funny you think his infidelity somehow takes away from everything else he's done off the course. You have like two talking points when it comes to Tiger. One is about his infidelity and the other pertains to his 14 majors to Jack's 18. You bring absolutely nothing else to any conversation regarding Tiger. You are one of the most simple minded people on this forum and your "years of watching golf" won't change that. My grandmother, god rest her soul, watched more sports than any person I've ever met but I took most every opinion she had with a grain of salt because they were not based on fact or logic. Like you, she didn't fully understand the sports she watched.

I'll make it simple for you. Tiger's personal, domestic life is irrelevant when discussing what he has given back to the game of golf.

1st of all I am not losing at anything in this thread... 2nd.. Tiger is one of the most recognizable people in the world... And So is Jack.... Jack has done things the right way... Tiger not so much... Hey YOU guys brought up OFF THE COURSE..... I am not attacking Tiger in any way.. Just posting what happened and how it looks bad...... SO IF you want to bring up LL the good he has done off the course you then have to include what else he has done OFF the course....

100% Go listen to any interview of any tour player and how they feel about Tiger. When Phil Mickelson is excited he's back, that's pretty telling.

Go look at the crowds that follow Tiger. Look at the media coverage when Tiger plays. If you don't think Tiger has been welcomed back with open arms, then you're not paying attention

Serious question, do his personal indiscretions take away from anything he have given to the sport of golf? If the answer is yes, please explain why and how that is the case.

Michael Jordan is one of the most detestable athletes off the course in regards to infidelity. he has illegitimate children all over the country, yet no one with a rational mind would discount what he's meant and continues to mean for the game of basketball. Unfortunately for Tiger, all of his dirty laundry came in the internet age where everything is documented, everyone has a voice, and news spreads within hours. All of peej's heroes growing up would be viewed much differently if there was all the information available then we have today.

He's not your prototypical Tiger hater at all.

fricking millenials....

fricking old people and their memories and not being able to support any of their stories that have become fables over the years. I'm not a millennial btw

and again, none of this is relevant to the conversation. For as old as you are, you have never learned in your years on this earth how to have a debate.

Once again, you go off on a crazy rant that has nothing to do with the current discussion. Is it really this difficult for you to just stay on topic?
