Completely agree. Would make for a good North and South Louisiana party in NOLA that weekend. Would possibly put 50-60k in the Dome. I have several family members who graduated from Tech, so we can have the fun inner-family squabble.
Unfortunately, the administration at Tech has informed several bowls that they refuse to play in a game against us or ULM.

You type like a teenage girl. Bowls try to make money. New Orleans Bowl doesn't want 3 hillbillies when they can get 30,000 Cajuns.

If you look a few posts up you will see that I acknowledged where this happened to Tech. With that said, Tech didn't have the media all over their jocks like ULM does. People just like the Warhawks. I said it before, I spoke with Coach Berry and the Asst. AD and they have already set out the bowl practice schedule so they know they are going but they won't say or know for sure where it will be until thie upcoming weekend is over.

Tech will never play ULM or ULL in a bowl game, Tech has gaping vaginas and are afraid to get "upset" by a sun belt team when they are in a shitty conference themselves.

I agree 100%. I know it wouldn't help with hotels but it would pack the stadium if Tech would play either. They make it to a good game against TCU last year and now they think they should play in a BCS Bowl when only like 2 of the teams they beat are from automatic qualifying conferences.

I for one would welcome a Tech ULL bowl game but playing a school 30 min away in a bowl game would be stupid. What would Tech have to gain from playing ULM??

A great game that will get the Fan base pumped? A packed house home game? More excitement from the students about a home game than or as much as boise state last year? A leg up in recruiting on ULM?
I mean LSU plays other LA teams... They aren't scared and have almost nothing to gain unlike yall
And LSU would be pissed to play tech in a bowl game.... Cuz that means that are sitting closer to 6 wins than 10 wins
EDIT: Does this 71 number include miami?
I think 8-4 ULM is definitely in a bowl game.. Played SEC teams well, baylor well. They have an exciting offense and they have browning back.
Plus its a non-normal bowl team going to a bowl game which generally means alot of excitement around the bowl team
