There is no doubt that SEC officials punished Richt and Georgia after the endzone celebration for the rest of that year and even the next.
As for Bama and officiating, I am just so glad their fans finally got the experience of fighting a really good team AND the refs.

The AJ Green “celebration” penalty against LSU is a good example of them sticking it to Richt. It was really bad.

I believe the NFL told officials to make sure the NO Saints never win another Lombardi after bounty gate.
