thanks. I'm trying to search if it didn't pass in any parish. Find any?

State Legislature still needs to pass some regulation and taxation bills, so not until after that. Sometime next year.

You can go on the state secretary website and find out what parishes voted against it.

I still find it laughable that 57,000 people in EBR voted against this.

What a fricking miserable wasteland north Louisiana is.

the advertising for it was kind of misleading. I mean you had idiots here thinking it meant their winnings in their private leagues would start to be taxed

Maybe:

Legislation to regulate the games will be needed during the 2019 regular legislative session before fans can get started.

Lawmakers will hammer out rules on regulations and taxation.

uhhh what.. you're saying north Louisiana in a wasteland because they legalized it? now I've heard it all. think I heard on the radio that the only Parish up north that voted against it was Sabine. It passed in all other parishs

Winn Parish voted it down 60% to 40%. But that's because all the old farts here would rather see the parish die than make any changes.

Just did some looking but focused on Cen La on north Parishes because of this thread. Found 12 that voted against it.

Moorehouse - 56% no
West Carroll - 63% no
Richland - 56% no
Union - 56% no
Franklin - 57% no
Catahoula - 57% no
Caldwell - 61% no
Jackson - 56% no
Sabine - 60% no
Grant - 62% no
Winn - 59% no
Lasalle - 60% no
Avoyelles - 51% no
Vernon - 58% no
Beauregard - 56% no
Allen - 54% no
Jeff Davis - 51% no

Obviously there's a couple of more out there if the 47 out of 64 # is correct.

ETA: Natchitoches was 50/50 but passed by 100 votes or so

ETA2: added the other 5 parishes that voted no if 17 voting no is correct

The four parishes around Calcasieu and Cameron didn't pass it. Beauregard, Allen, Jeff Davis, and Vernon all voted it down.

I'm guessing the address of my home parish is gonna allow me to play?

It passed in Bossier Parish, but a substantial amount of people voted no on it. Who tf would vote no and why? My best guess was that some people just walk into the booth and vote no on everything.

That's what I want to know. I don't have any intention of ever doing the Fan Duel or Draft Kings stuff but I voted yes.

What's weird is that the Parishes I went back and spot checked the results, voted yes on most of the amendments and yes on most of the taxes on their ballots. Weird that the fantasy thing was an outlier in those Parishes.
