My dad used to umpire girls travel ball softball in the summer.
He said there was this big black umpire that would yell "OHHHH YOU SHOULDA SWUNG", on called third strikes.
So many parents complained. lol

i was quick with mine. just say strike 3 and pull the chainsaw.

Back when I umpired, I tore the phonebook on strike 3. This is on a called strike 3. On a swinging strike 3, I don't say anything and just raise my right fist in an upward pump. Same call I make on easy plays at first, second, or third.

I've umpired all levels for 30+ years. Mine has always been the same. Right hand extended then withdrawn quickly w STRIKE 3 BATTERS OUT
