Also the Bishop fumble in regulation after getting the yardage needed for the final first down to run out the clock, the Hail Mary that was completed 2 yards short of the endzone (Bishop wins the Heisman if that goes for a TD: would’ve been Band Play/Kick Six levels of iconic), Bishop running into an O-lineman when he had a walk-in TD in the 1st OT, and Sirr Parker’s infamous TD being on a 3rd & 17 rub route intended to simply make the impending FG attempt easier.

KSU basically won that game as many times as a team could without actually win it. They took the lead on their opening drive and held it for basically all of regulation. If a scriptwriter wrote that game, Hollywood would reject it for being both too depressing & unrealistic.
