Lose 35-10 to New Mexico in front of a Friday night crowd announced at 35.000 but looked like far less.
Also, Nico needs to give his dad a hug for talking him into ruining his career.

With donor base and local sponsor potential as big as theirs, is it worth that much to be the new Northwestern of a campus while putting all your athletes on four hour flights for conference events?
They could have been a leader in a rebuilt Pac12 or joined the Big 12 and been significant.

You're looking at it too short-term.

Public university using one of its most valuable resources to make money. It's not as if they can ask the state for money. CA doesnt have any and what it does spend is on liberal causes to help strengthen Newsomes run for President. UCLA is paying for the sins of its state. They get their conference share win or lose.
