It was the Huskies in the Rose Bowl. The signs were supposed to read Washington.
It was Washington fans that held up Cal-Tech...without knowing what they were doing.
Washington was staying at Cal State Long Beach in prep for the Rose Bowl and Cal-Tech students broke into the dorm rooms and altered the instructions for the signs.
