I posted in here last night that it was stupid. But now I hear some of the breakdown. Sounds like Lebron just made them look stupid on the horrible over play that he exploited so easily with a that drive and then an uncontested layup. Crazy finish tho.

Why do you try and play match-ups with a team that athletic in that situation? Like my dad always said, you never EVER give up an easy layup. That can't happen. You can tip the hat to em for making a jump shot. But you can't let them drive.

With that being said, you've got 2.2 seconds left. They're in your territory. I'm sorry, but the ball is never going to Bosh in that situation. And LeBron isn't gonna try and shoot. Why not play a 2-3 with all your bigs and Hibbert in the middle? I'll allow him to foul out to stop the drive. But for them to leave the lane open for a team that athletic and likes to drive like they do is unacceptable. This is on Vogel. Never leave the lane open. Never ever give up an easy layup.

Ha, with Ray Allen on the floor, that would never happen.

Seriously? The Heat have kicked out to Mario Chalmers and even Eddie House before for game winners, but you don't think they'd look for Bosh when he'd have the best matchup on the court?

For everyone saying that an open Bosh jumper is acceptable, are you aware that he's one of the best mid range shooters in the NBA? You can't just concede that shot.

As of March 18, Bosh is leading the NBA in shooting from 16-to-23 feet at 54.3 percent, or what we consider long 2-point shots.

The Pacers had other options, Arnovitz has a great article breaking it down on ESPN today, but Vogel had legitimate reasoning behind pulling Hibbert.

Id take a Bosh jumper over layup anyday. Especially since it just happened on the previous possession

Well that's the thing, at the time Vogel didn't expect George to frick up so badly. The choice wasn't a Bosh jumper or a wide open Lebron layup

BTW I'm not necessarily arguing that Vogel made the correct decision, just that what he did isn't completely illogical. There are people on here who think he should be fired
