Eddie Delahoussaye

Great jockey, but boy could he frustrate his backers and their owners/trainers.

Trainer would tell Eddie to go to the lead, Eddie would take the horse to back of pack, 15 lengths off, and miss 2nd by a head. Then take a horse who sits off the lead and draw clear, when told to sit off pace.

But man, he could ride closers with a thing of brilliance. He knew how to measure that wire.

Not really, there was a really good jockey on the Florida circuit who was "visiting" from South America but did not pay taxes or baby momma support and they shipped him back home.
